Hello Something Underground fans! It’s June! You know what that means? Time for us to start our fun, family-friendly, FREE summer concerts! We’ve got shows coming up in Littleton, Niwot, Evergreen and Dillon this month.
Columbine Knolls, June 7
Starting this Sunday, we will be playing at Columbine Knolls. The swimming pool closes and we start jamming right at 7pm. So if you want to get some swim time in, make sure you come early.
Niwot, Rock & Rails, June 11
Summer fun continues next Thursday when we hit Whistlestop Park in Niwot for their Rock & Rails summer concert series. The Jamesons Duo starts the evening off right at 5:30pm and SUG follows at 6:30.
Evergreen Lakehouse, June 17
Then, the following Wednesday, we head up the hills for the Evergreen Lake Summer Concert Series. Bring you family, friends, neighbors, coworkers and mailman for a beautiful evening in the foothills. Frangelo starts at 5, so arrive early, bring a picnic dinner and make a night of it.
Lake Dillon, June 26
Rounding out the month, we head further into the hills on June 26 for a concert at Lake Dillon Amphitheater. The sun setting over the lake is truly a sight to behold and it can only be made better with your favorite SUG songs as a soundtrack. We’ll start playing at 7.
And if that weren’t enough fun free things, please hop on down to Larimer Square this weekend for the Denver Chalk Art Festival where Something Underground is sponsoring our good friend and very talented artist Laurie Maves as she creates some beautiful chalk art.
